Vastu shastra

In Narain Homes we realize both the necessity of new technology and the importance of our heritage. This is why all our projects are formed considering not just beauty and practical use but also vastu formation. We have great experience in vastu veda or vastu shastra (‘science of construction’).

The Sanskrit word vastu means “any existing or abiding substance or essence, thing, object, article” and also “goods, wealth, property”. Vrddhi vāstu means “the site or foundation of a house, ground, building or dwelling-place, habitation, homestead, house”. The primary term is vas, “to dwell, live, stay, abide”. The term shastra may be loosely translated as “science, doctrine, teaching”.
